QUEEN VICTORIA BUILDING - SYDNEY CARPARK RENOVATION

Hychem recently completed an epoxy flooring and MMA flooring project at the iconic Queen Victoria Building in Sydney. The installation presented unique challenges, as it required rapid installation with minimal shutdown. To address this, Hychem's rapid curing MMA resin costing was used, allowing the site to remain open without any shutdown.

Hychem Polyac MMA's has a fast curing time of 1 hour between coats enabling individual lanes to be kept open, ensuring traffic flow continued while complete areas were coated and ready for use just 1 hour after the final coat. The durability of Hychem Polyac MMA coating system is exceptional, with the flooring still performing admirably after 8 years.

In addition to Hychem Polyac MMA, Hychem's SF20FG epoxy, which incorporates a fine anti-slip aggregate, was also utilized in selected areas with varying colors. SF20FG is an 85% solids epoxy which offers cost-effectiveness, a matte finish with a wide range of colors available, and a perfect P3 finish without the need for additional anti-slip measures.
